Back to the list

At the moment, there are several exciting initiatives to raise money for research on rheumatic diseases 🎗🎗

👉 From August 31 to September 6, Annabelle St-Laurent will walk 200 km from her home in Quebec City to her parents' home in Sherbrooke. 🌿 All of this is to raise funds for rheumatic diseases. Both of her parents live with such conditions—her mother with lupus, and her father with rheumatoid arthritis. Annabelle emphasizes that the best tool we have to improve patients' quality of life is research. 💪

👉 In Lac-Saint-Jean, another challenge is taking place. From September 1 to 5, Elliot Saucer will run 230 km to raise funds for Lupus Canada 🏃. This challenge was inspired by his mother to raise awareness about lupus. His mom was diagnosed with lupus in 2021 and has experienced the many ups and downs of the disease.
