Congratulations to Dr. Elodie Mareux, a postdoctoral fellow under the guidance of Dr. Véronique Moulin, for receiving a scholarship from the ARThritis Society Canada for her project on scleroderma! 🌟
"Scleroderma is a severe disease that affects multiple organs, including the skin. It leads to the thickening and hardening of the skin, known as cutaneous fibrosis. Simple tasks like shaking hands become a challenge for patients. Unfortunately, due to limited treatments, fibrosis continues to progress. My project aims to decipher the role of a cytokine in this fibrosis to identify new therapeutic targets for scleroderma patients." – Elodie Mareux
