May is Lupus awareness month.

<

Back to the list

Did you know? May is systemic lupus erythematosus month.

This day was created in 1977. However, it was not until 2009 that the month of May was chosen for this period of mobilization, whose actions culminate on May 10, on the occasion of the World Day for the Fight against lupus. For this occasion, purple becomes the color of the fight against disease:

On May 10, the #CNTower was lit purple for World Lupus Day and National Lupus Awareness Month

Like the CN Tower, share your actions with us by tagging us on social media (@ARThriteZoom). On the occasion of this event, we invite you to consult the pages of our research partners. The Lupus Gatineau website and Facebook Page offer information on the disease (in French) and Lupus Canada offers webinars (in English) to raise public awareness of lupus issues.
