In September, we held our very first Café Scientifique, with the participation of Maggie Douglas and Yaneisy-Nynoska Tremblay from the Take a Pain Check Foundation! ✅
The morning began with roundtable discussions, which provided an opportunity for meaningful exchanges between patients and members of Centre ARThrite. 🤝
These discussions were followed by a panel dedicated to Take a Pain Check, during which our guests introduced this important initiative and shared their personal experiences living with the disease. 🔎
In addition, Montmorency Falls were illuminated in blue to mark Arthritis Awareness Month! 💙
January 2026
On January 30, we held our second Café Scientifique ☕, featuring nursing PhD student Ms. Naomi Kabwiku.
More than 25 people participated in this hybrid event! 👏 The presentation focused on a new research project on self-care in lupus, followed by an engaging discussion.
